Spring Works

In the spring, we use our horses to trample down the grass in order to avoid excessive competition with the vines

Winter pruning is one of the most significant events in the plants’ entire vegetative cycle

Autumn Chores

In the Winter, Bru pulls a horse-draw plough and piles up earth around the roots of the vine stocks in order to aerate the soil

Sown

We sow seeds in the plots using a 19th-century McCormick Machine

The herd of sheep and goats helps clear the edges of the vineyards and reduce the plant cover during the winter and the autumn

Biodynamic preparations

Every autumn, we make the biodynamic preparations, which we dig up in the spring to add to our compost.
